If you are looking for a way to cool off in Vojvodina during the summer heat, you will have more options than you might expect. The region has a genuinely varied range of water spots, from well-organised family complexes and modern wellness centres to a free, turquoise quarry lake hidden in the Fruška Gora hills.
Here are the 5 most interesting spots, with the latest 2026 official prices, hours and practical tips.
1. Adica Recreation Centre (Ada) – The shaded family complex
The Adica complex (adica.rs) has been one of Vojvodina's most popular water spots for decades. It sits right next to the Tisa river, spread across a large, tree-covered park that stays shady even in peak summer heat. The Olympic pool, leisure pools and slides cover every age group.

2. Palić Aqua Park – Premium water park by the lake
Palić Aqua Park (elittepalic.rs/akva-park) is one of the most modern water complexes in Vojvodina. It combines a large outdoor slide park with a serious indoor wellness and spa section, making it a good fit for both families and those looking to unwind properly.

3. Pačir Thermal Bath – The one with the purple water
Pačir is a genuine curiosity. The thermal water rises from the ground at 72 degrees Celsius and cools in an artificial lake to a comfortable 30–35 degrees. Its mineral composition (iodine, bromine, lithium) gives it a distinctive lilac-pink colour by July. It is popular with both photographers and those visiting for the therapeutic properties. There are also two covered pools.

If organised pool complexes are not what you are after, the Bešenovo lake in the Fruška Gora hills offers something different. It formed in an old marl quarry, and the white rock faces around it combined with the unusually clear, turquoise-to-green water make it a striking spot. Entry is completely free.

Important note: this is not a managed facility. There are no lifeguards, and the bottom drops off quickly from the shore. Locals and adventurous visitors love it for exactly that reason, but it is worth knowing before you go.

The recently opened complex in Bačka Topola (bazenvenus.com) sits next to the TSC Arena in a modern building that operates year-round. It meets FINA standards and combines serious sport with leisure.
